30. MENJANGAN (WEST BALI NATIONAL PARK)
A coastal destination that offers great forest treks, boat ride through the mangrove forest, and fantastic snorkeling/wall diving
North Bali coastline is home to Bali’s most famous bio-rock and several dive sites. West Bali National Park, located off the coast of Menjangan Island, is a coastal forest which offers great forest treks, boat ride through the mangrove forest, and fantastic snorkeling/wall diving. The area is known to be one of the last two sites where endangered Bali Starling lives, and several can be observed in the national park office. Guided sunset horseback riding is also offered, which can be done even by first timers.
Due to the long distance, guests are recommended to stay at least 2 days in West Bali National Park, with great accommodations located on the beachfront, in the forest, and by the cliff facing the ocean.
